Risto Ojala
Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor
T212 Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering
I'm heading the Autonomy & Mobility Lab within the Mechatronics research group. My research is mainly centred around automated driving and intelligent vehicle systems. A key focus of my laboratory is the development of perception solutions for harsh environments, with several of our proposed solutions being targeted towards automated vehicle operation in the Nordic winter conditions. Some of my other research areas include connected vehicle solutions, advanced driver assistance systems, and energy efficient vehicular technologies.
